Synopsis

This ensemble comedy proves that surviving the politics of parenthood can be just as demanding as raising a child. When competitive Andrew finally convinces his ambivalent wife, Lauren, to become pregnant, they find that their peers--particularly the other couples--are more than willing to overwhelm them with advice. This show takes a brutally honest look at how one couple and their friends navigate their way through the often murky waters of pregnancy and new parenthood. Based on Risa Green's novel of the same name, Notes from the Underbelly was created by Stacy Traub.
